The BreakUp

Saturday nite, just got back from a wonderful dinner at Sushi X with LaTeeya and what do I find on cable but my favorite funny movie of the moment- The BreakUp. I am not sure when it happened that this movie worked its way into my heart-I think because Ronda and I quote from this movie religously... Vince Vaughn is so snarky and rude- but endless endless jokes. Anyone who can play victim of an attack by a"dancing singing sprite" who "fools you with trickery" is pretty funny in my book!

The title is very apropos considering I am "breaking up" with my native city of Chicago and heading west in a few short weeks. Today is the 8th and I leave on the 20th- so that is 12 short days!!! I am excited, nervous, unsure of what the future holds but very excited to be somewhere warm- these 20 degree, 30 degree days are driving me crazy!

As my friend Gary would say- it is time to "saddle up, time to rope up some talent" I hope the men in San Diego are ready for me :)
